Mike has thirty years’ experience of the utilities industries in the UK and internationally, he spent significant time at GEC Marconi in their Services Business deploying mobile communications for Rail and Road customers. Mike has a track record of constructing assets across the power, telecoms and renewables sectors most recently building Fibre to the Home networks as CEO of Gigaclear, the rural fibre network operator.

Peter is a lawyer with long experience of working in-house and as a non-executive in the telecoms and financial services sectors. He has worked for and advised equipment, infrastructure and service suppliers to the telecoms sector and has held non-executive roles with regulators including the Phone–Paid Services Authority, the FCA and HM Treasury.

Jon is a chartered engineer, former Network Rail Route Director and Major Investment Programme Director with almost 40 years of experience.  He has a strong rail infrastructure background in maintenance management and the leadership of long-term complex projects with multiple stakeholders.  Whilst at Network Rail, Jon led the turnaround of the £1.7 billion capital works programme to deliver a new GSM – R digital radio network across all of Britain’s rail network including the installation of lineside fixed equipment and the cab fitment of all train fleets. He has also acted as the sponsor for several major route modernisation and upgrade programmes including the East Coast Main Line Upgrade and the Cross Country Route Modernisation.

Mark Webster is qualified with a degree in Real Estate Management. He started his career with Nat West Group managing their property portfolio in Ireland. As a Surveyor, he entered the telecoms industry for APT-Marconi to work on ADC projects and the roll-out of mobile telecommunication networks in Ireland, Scotland and Holland. Mark was later promoted as Marconi’s ADC Manager for EMEA based in Spain. Fluent in Spanish, he has since worked on various business ventures related to both telco and property acquisitions & management.

Charles Bugge has twenty years of telecoms industry experience, starting his career in Marconi and telent before moving to Vodafone where he was leading installation and migration programmes within both the fixed and mobile telecom fields, before leading the national transmission team supporting the 5G launch.

Brendan has more than thirty years’ experience of financial and IT roles, working both in the UK and internationally, with extensive experience, in particular, of the EMEA region. He has worked across a number of industry sectors including manufacturing, consumer goods, professional and legal services. A considerable portion of his career was spent at Unilever, based in different countries, and most recently he worked for a large American law firm, Baker & McKenzie.

Joanna is an experienced property lawyer who has worked in the telecoms sector for over 30 years. She was a partner at Bird & Bird, then moved to become Legal Counsel to Ultramast and subsequently the Shere Group, before joining Railsite Telecom as Legal Director

Paul Sludden, Director of Radio Engineering

Paul Sludden is the Director of Radio Engineering at Railsite Telecom and is responsible for the design and planning of mobile network sites on behalf of UK Mobile Network Operators.
Paul has spent over 25 years working in the Mobile Radio sector with Operators, Vendors and Consultancy firms globally. During this time, he gained extensive experience in mobile network strategy, technology, planning, implementation and performance.

Simon is both a Chartered Civil Engineer and a Chartered Structural Engineer with over 30 years experience in the construction and telecommunications industry.  He has provided specialist structural expertise to Cellnet, Mercury Personal Communications, APT and as Chief Technical Officer for the Ultramast joint venture between Marconi and Railtrack. More recently he has provided engineering consultancy services to Cellnex and other private clients in the construction industry.

Paul Coxon, Landlords coordinator

After leaving University with a Degree in Urban Land Economics, Paul worked for the Government, managing MOD Property and the Civil Estate in Northern England. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1984 and was involved in fast paced acquisition programmes for two of the UK’s MNO’s. In addition to Cellular Radio he also has experience implementing fibre optic networks in London, Frankfurt and Stockholm. As Project Director with APT, he managed a large team dedicated to a strategically important ADC contract. He was also responsible for the deployment of the first UK underground rail project in Newcastle Upon Tyne, before setting up his own Telecommunications business working on behalf of Landlords throughout the UK.

Malc has twenty years of telecoms experience. He joined APT- Marconi in 2000 taking on varied acquisition roles across British Waterways, Railtrack, O2, Orange and Airwave projects before moving onto Shere Group in 2004. With Shere and latterly with Cellnex he worked across diverse projects which include, site acquisition, build, maintenance, landlord care and site access management. Most recently he was a part of the project team tasked with DAS installs within large stadia.

Joe Kendall, Data Analyst

Joe graduated from Loughborough University in 2019 with a degree in Geography with Economics. Joe has previous work in telecoms sector working as a GIS planner for Gigaclear in the summer of 2019. Following returning from a winter playing cricket in Australia Joe has been supporting the Railsite Telecom projects with data entry, data analysis and GIS planning.
